The only type of molecular compound a chemistry student is expected to be able to name is a binary covalent compound. This is a covalent compound made up of only two different elements. Identifying Molecular Compounds Molecular compounds contain two or more nonmetals (not the ammonium ion). Usually, you can recognize a molecular compound because the first element in the compound name is a nonmetal. Some molecular compounds contain hydrogen, however, if you see a compound which starts with H, you can assume it is an acid and not a molecular compound. Compounds consisting only of carbon with hydrogen are called hydrocarbons. Hydrocarbons have their own special nomenclature, so they are treated differently from other molecular compounds. Most forms of English verbs vary little, we often add a -s or -es in the third-person singular and add -ed for the simple past tense. In Spanish, by comparison, verbs undergo many changes. If you can unlock the key to verbs, then you can unlock the key to the language. Regular verbs, meaning verbs with three common endings, -ar, -er and -ir that are conjugated or change the same way according to their ending, can take on 16 different forms due to changes in tense, mood or inflection. Irregular verbs, may seem even more insurmountable. Irregular verbs can have more than 50 different patterns. What follows are some handy tips for handling irregular verbs. Thankfully, there are few patterns that emerge that can help Spanish learners grasp irregular verb changes. Irregular Verbs Are Common Since many irregular verbs are commonly used, it will not take long until the irregular forms come naturally. English provides a good example of this. The synopsis of the film is that a young girl, Chichiro, stumbles into the land of the spirits (the place with Japanese’s folklores), where her parents are transformed into pigs, and to save them, she herself must get a job in the bathhouse owned by the witch Yubaba. By watching the whole process, Miyazaki combines the film with characters from Japanese’s legends or myth; it led to fabulous and affecting fictional narratives from the characters. It seems that Miyazaki has made a world that has all the potency of any actual myth and the same capacity for evoking a real sense of curiosity with entirely on its own. I think it’s because his drawing on motifs and various details present in Japanese’s legend and folklore. Miyazaki has created fascinating characters. Chihiro seems very realistically portrayed girl and is one the great characters of narrative art. The process of creating her takes a lot of hard work. He has to get an insight into the minds of children and the ways children act and react. Also, He has to find the best suitable voice for the character. The inhabitants and guests of the bathhouse are nicely done as well. For example, the spider-like man to frog-like man are displayed a unique personality that adds, even if it’s small, to the film’s attraction. All these elements are so able to mesmerize the audiences that Spirited Away is often affecting. The film brings a sense of awe and deep world that is hidden beyond the human world. From the exaggerated expressions of other characters to Chihiro’ maturing face, the film shows more emotion in a single frame. Miyazaki has balanced all the various details and elements so that each complements the others and contributes to the film’s effect. Looking at Spirited Away at basic level, I see it as an adventure about a girl. Then if I look at it in depth, it’s about growing up. Chihiro’s growth from a scared girl crying for her parents that turned into pigs to a mature girl. This film has a similarity with Alice in Worderland where a little girl stumbles into a world that she never knew before. But the difference is that Spirited Away moved from children’s genre to adult’s genre. The film is more dark and deep. Miyazaki has created a real work of art for every generation to come and interested in animation. This film is a good example of the best animation in history. It is attractive, awesome, and awe inspiring film to anyone. It is an Anime film that uses vital elements to deliver its message and made the film success with excellent and fluid animation. Since the foundation of America, the Electoral College has been the means of deciding the next president of the United States. Until the recent fiasco in the 2000 Florida presidential election, most people accepted the Electoral College as a fair way to decide a future president. In truth, the Electoral College has always been imbalanced and unfair. It was originally designed in Article II of the Constitution, so that each state receives an elector for every senator (two per state) and representative (number based on population). The way in which Electors were chosen was left up to the individual states. Each elector would vote for two candidates, and whoever received a simple majority (one half plus one votes) would become the next president. Whoever received the second most votes became vice president (Kimberling). After the Election of 1800, the Fourth Amendment introduced the idea of a vice president and president ticket. In addition, the amendment said that if a candidate did n ot receive an absolute majority in the Electoral College then the House of Representatives decided the next president. Presently all states choose their electors via statewide popular vote, and one presidential candidate receives all the electoral votes from each state (Kimberling). Upon close examination, it is easy to see the numerous flaws in the Electoral College. First, the most popular candidate does not necessarily win the presidency. Second, as it stands the Electoral College diminish voter turnout. Third, â€Å"faithless electors,† of which this country has had many, could decide an election. The poem ‘Belfast Confetti illustrates the aftermath of a bomb during the troubles that people in Belfast experienced. The title ‘Belfast Confetti’ is a heading that has a dual meaning. On one had the homemade bombs that the IRA used are referred to as Belfast confetti due to the nuts and bolts they put in the shrapnel. The second is more complicated. Confetti is usually used in times of celebration such as weddings, which is strange as the poem is about something completely different to a celebration. It is usually thrown over the heads of the bride and the groom, so it rains down on them. Carson may be using that title to create a metaphor; the nuts and bolts flew over the head of people just like confetti does. Carson presents the poem with widespread references to punctuation marks using words such as ‘Exclamation Marks’ and ‘Sentence’. â€Å"It was raining exclamation marks† this is trying to represent the noises made by fallin g shrapnel. Generally, exclamation marks are used when someone is shouting or when words need to be emphasised. As you can imagine, the noise of the bombs and chaos it caused must have had a huge effect on the noises that were being heard, people screaming, sirens sounding and huge fires blazing. To understand the poem you have to delve deeper into the meaning of the way in which the title of the poem is worded. This poem is very chaotic which matches this experience. The poet also does not present any type of metre or rhythm, this could be because he wanted the poem to be seen and read with the confusion which the people felt after the bomb was detonated. This gives the poem more reality than it would do if there was a clear structure to it. Analysing the lines in the poem, I can see a trend of contradictions and dual meanings. For example â€Å"All the alleyways and side streets blocked with stops and colons† on the outside this line tells us that the escape what blocked and there was n o way out of the chaos. Although looking at the line with more depth, that what is discoverable is that what is trying to be said is that there is no escape because of the violence in general. Using the word â€Å"stops† and â€Å"colons† could refer to the writers own beliefs. Carson may be trying to get a message across that all is being done to try and stop the attacks is through the Governments use of meetings and laws. Ironically, I think the author is trying to say we need to urgently tackle this violence with  actions rather than letters and meetings, hence the quote â€Å"Alleyways and side streets blocked by stops and colons† meaning by lack of action there is no escape. Furthermore, another example of these contradictions is the line â€Å"I know this labyrinth so well – Balaklava, Raglan, Inkerman, Odessa Street† This quote tells us that the author has a connection with these streets and knows his way round them. Carson compares the streets to a labyrinth, meaning the place where a man eating Minotaur lived and was said to be built like a maze, derived from Greek Mythology. This tells us that the streets were like a maze, probably due to the chaos and that there were dead people around. A bomb could be associated with the Minotaur as it was the cause of the deaths and streets to be its home as it is the place he kills. The overall message of the poem is to educate the readers of what it was like to be involved in a bombing. I also believe that the poem is trying to portray a message of invasion. His hometown was getting destroyed in front of him and the only way he believed he could teach people about this was through poetry. The fact that he chose to express his emotions through poetry is a really interesting way of getting his point across. The whole poem is an extended metaphor which shows the conflict and how chaotic the poem is.

Consider going back and perfecting it to a T. What’s the story question that will compel readers to flip the pages?
